Job description
Kintullagh is a 59 bed home situated in Ballymena. This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia or in need of general nursing. Residents are invited to relax in the lounges, to watch a TV programme, listen to music, read or just have a chat. Could you be the next enthusiastic team-player to join us in our wonderful home? Your main role will be to plan and deliver meaningful, person-centered activity and occupation to all our residents. You will also guide, develop and coach our staff in engagement and activity with residents, so that every day is filled with magic moments. We believe it is everyone’s role to help our residents live well, and enjoy life. You will ensure residents’ dignity and self-esteem is enhanced through meaningful engagement, positive relationships and free expression of individuality..
Responsibilities
- Leading on, and delivering, high quality meaningful activity for all residents.
- Ensuring people living with dementia enjoy the same opportunities for engagement and activity as other residents.

Essential Skills
- Skills to deliver high quality activity and engagement to residents.
Desirable Skills
- A positive forward-thinking approach, have the ability to enthuse and guide others, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
