Community Centre Assistant
Job description
To work within the Crumlin Community Hub to support and provide programmes, activities and develop community cohesion for residents in Crumlin.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and arrange rooms for various programs ensuring they are organised and equipped with the necessary materials.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the hub including housekeeping tasks.
- Greet and welcome service users, visitors and community members by providing a friendly and welcoming environment.
- To assist with general inquiries by providing information and support.
- Oversee the scheduling, logistics and day-to-day operations of the programmes, activities and events ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Computer literacy.
- Maths.
Desirable Skills
- Good people skills.
- Knowledge of social media.
- Knowledge of health and safety at work.
- First aid.
- Basic food hygiene.
Further Information
The Employer is: A SAFE SPACE TO BE ME Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16/17 £6.40, 18/20yrs £8.60, 21yrs or over £11.44 per hour.
