Job description

We are looking to employ an experienced cafe/restaurant supervisor with barista experience. You will be working with us full time in a day only role. You should have a track record of working in hospitality, especially a sit down table service operation. In addition to a salary of £27,040 there will be additional income of around £3k in staff tips that are processed through payroll. This will entail a lot of weekends on but it would be possible to arrange 1 weekend per month off. You will be expected to open and close the store, ensure stock is rotated and ordered. You will deal with telephone orders and bookings and oversee staff training and development. You will ensure all customers receive a warm welcome and goodbye and that they are properly attended to whilst dining with us. You will be responsible for weekly staff rotas, handling minor staff issues such a time off request etc. Most importantly is that you represent Sugarcane Cafe Bistro and encourage repeat custom via great customer service. .
