Job description

To provide technical and facilities support across CEC. To maintain facilities to a high standard and to carry out regular maintenance, administrative and portering duties across sites. .

Responsibilities

• Prepare the site for opening and closing each day. Be able to work flexibly as occasionally some events may take place in the evening, early morning or over weekends.
• Monitor heat, light, power and network connection across Clady Villa site and ensure any problems are reported in a timely manner. Be on site with contractors to ensure issues are resolved appropriately.
• Attend other CEC sites to undertake facility management checks as required. Liase with Office Manager or Senior Manager on site before proceeding to action any required work.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths (Grades A - C) OR equivalent qualification to demonstrate literacy and numeracy OR Higher Qualification AND Two A Levels or equivalent OR Higher Qualifications AND 18 Months relevant experience: OR
• Three years relevant experience relevant experience would include site/facilities support experience of equipment and/or building.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of providing digital and/or set up support for large conferences or events.
• Manual handling qualification.
• Fire Warden experience.
• Experience of managing clinical equipment.
