Senior Organisation Development Practitioner


Job description

The Senior Organisation Development (OD) Practitioner will be part of a team, which is responsible for corporate organisation development and learning and development activities in the Trust. Working strategically, the post holder will support organisation development, change initiatives, and in particular lead on key projects relating to our people-related work-streams to help nurture our people, enable our talent and build our teams..

Responsibilities

  • To support the Head of Organisation Development in the development, implementation and delivery of the Trusts Corporate and HR strategies.
  • To develop and implement Organisation Development (OD) and Learning and Development (L&D) strategies, processes and interventions, which reflect and support delivery of the Trusts corporate objectives.
  • To assist in the implementation of and project manage the people work-streams of the Trusts People and Culture Plan including but not limited to leadership and management development, employee engagement, recognition and retention and skills develop

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Have a relevant degree or recognised professional qualification or equivalent middle management (defined as Band 6 or equivalent or above) Human Resources / qualification plus
  • Have 2 years experience in an Organisation Development/Learning and Development role or in a role where a significant component has been in the delivery of training Or
  • Have worked for 4 years in a middle management (defined as Band 6 or equivalent or above) Human Resources/Organisation Development/Learning and Development role or in a role where a significant component has been in the delivery of training and can
  • Demonstrate examples of having: Experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of a range of organisation development and learning and development interventions
  • Made a significant contribution to continuous improvement initiatives that facilitated enhanced service delivery
  • Worked with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport SEE JD
