Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Job description
The postholder will be a highly experienced, knowledgeable and educated member of the team, who is able to work autonomously within their expanded scope of clinical practice in the management of acute oncology patients. The ANP is accountable for the total episode of care for patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed needs and is shaped by the context of their clinical practice. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will demonstrate highly developed assessment, diagnostic, analytical and clinical judgement skills and the components of this level of practice. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will use their expert knowledge and complex decision-making skills, guided by The Code in all situations. The ANP is accountable for the total episode of care for patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed needs and is shaped by the context of their clinical practice. The ANP must demonstrate competence across the four key areas of the Advanced Nursing Practice Framework. In addition, the ANP must demonstrate the ability to work at an advanced level and be able to apply the competencies in the key areas of their scope of practice. .

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Live NMC Registration on Part 1 (ADULT) of the NMC register. NMC recorded Non-medical prescribing qualification (v300) and actively prescribing.
