Responsibilities

• The post holder will focus and lead under the direction of the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse on the following key areas, within the organisations governance framework
• Assist the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to ensure that systems and processes are in place to support effective mentoring of relevant staff
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for staff, patients/clients and visitors by ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and protocols including health and safety, healthcare associated infection, risk management, critical incident reporting

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse on Part 1 (adult) of the live NMC Register
• Have two years post-registration experience within (hospital setting)

Further Information

Salary: £33,706 - £40,588 per annum pro rata.
