Job description

Receptionist required to cover maternity leave in a country medical centre. Meet and greet all patients at the front desk with a warm and courteous welcome..

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet all patients at the front desk with a warm and courteous welcome.
  • Answer telephone calls. Process prescriptions.
  • General administration (filing, scanning, post). Operation and maintenance of the computer system. Other admin duties.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • GCSE English Language (grade A-C or equivalent).
  • Fully computer literate. Excellent communication skills and organisational skills.
  • Ensuring absolute confidentiality us maintained at all times. Flexibility. Working as part of a team and use own initiative.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working as a medical receptionist/working in a healthcare setting/working with the general public. Use of clinical system.
