Office and Event Support Person
Job description
The Employer is: IN YOUR SPACE CIRCUS LTD. This role is a combination of administrative and hands-on duties. In this role you will be mainly office based and provide support to the Senior Management Team in the delivery of IYSC's events and activities. .
Responsibilities
- Using information technology to support general admin and planning support.
- Attend various meetings where required.
- Assist with general duties required for the running of a busy office.
- Liaising with artists, team members and clients where appropriate.
- Support creation, maintenance and coordination of props and costume.
- Support planning, running and evaluation of projects and events.
- Assisting with project and event marketing and promotion where relevant, this includes creating content for IYSC's social media platforms.
- Identify and complete relevant training opportunities.
- Carrying out general production runner duties during events.
- Assisting with preparing for events, showcases and/or meetings.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience of working with a range of organisations and individuals.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good administrative skills including information technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines as required.
- Be a dynamic team player with willingness to take direction but also a high level of initiative.
- Willingness to work flexible and anti-social hours.
- Willingness to meet the physical demand of the role.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of working on events.
- Creative instincts in terms of costume, props, and site dressing.
- Creativity and an innovative approach to projects and event work.
Further Information
The Employer is: IN YOUR SPACE CIRCUS LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position.
