Job description

The post holder as a member of the relevant Physical Disability Team will contribute to the provision of a high quality multidisciplinary service for client with a physical disability people within the locality in which they will be based. The post holder is required to work as a member of the Multidisciplinary Team delivering high quality technical support both in a clinic and domiciliary settings. .

Responsibilities

• To be responsible for a delegated caseload, for organising own workload in line with the agreed service priorities, policies and procedures of the employing authority, under the direct supervision of the team OT and Physio.
• Under the direction of Registered Therapists and in accordance with Trust Policies and Procedures, he/she will be responsible for management of a delegated caseload, participating in assessments, treatments and interventions.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Hold 4 GCSEs (grade A-C or equivalent including English and Mathematics and 3 year experience as a Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and language or Generic Rehab Assistant Band 3.
• Or: hold a Health Care Related level 3 Diploma NVQ QCF RQF Qualification or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience as a Band 3 Physio OT, Speech and language therapy or Generic Rehab Assistant in a Health and Social Care related role.
