Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our service user who needs a Care Assistant for her husband. To get her husband up in the mornings and into bed at night. Training can be given with the use of the hoist..

Responsibilities

• To get her husband up in the mornings and into bed at night. There is personal care required both mornings and evenings due to incontinence.
• There will be 15 hours additional hours per week over 3 days to cover maternity leave.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• With at least 1 year Care Assistant experience and a driver's license

Further Information

Work Time: She is looking for 1 carer for 1 hour on the following mornings: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday then 2 carers 1 hour each on Monday, and Friday. She is also looking for 1 carer for 1 hour in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday then 2 carers for 1 hour each on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. She would be ok if the days/nights were shared by carers who may only want to do 1 or 2 days/nights. The preferred hours would be any time from 9.30 am. He is quite happy to get up anytime up to 10.30. So if you start at 9.30, finish by 10.30 or if 10.30 start, finish at 11.30. Bedtime hours are not as flexible as between 10.30 to 11.30, which seems to suit his sleep pattern.
