HR & Office Administrator
Job description
35 hours Per week working Monday to Thursday 9am-3pm and 8am - 2pm Friday. .
Responsibilities
- Provide administration support across the HR function.
- Ensure HR records are accurately maintained and kept up to date.
- Administration of the recruitment and section process such as preparing adverts, candidate correspondence, issue monitoring forms and checking Right to Work eligibility.
- Tracking of probationary periods.
- Assist Office Manager with the weekly and monthly payroll process.
- Various other HR related duties as and when required.
- General office admin tasks such as filing paperwork, dealing with customer phone calls and emails.
- Providing administration support to the Managing Director and management as and when required.
- Administration of monthly invoices.
- Updating and maintaining company vehicle files.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
- Excellent IT skills and competence, including use of Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience of organising own time and work, using initiative and setting own work priorities and working to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a variety of tasks.
- Willingness to help other parts of the business when required.
Desirable Skills
- A degree in Human Resources or business Management.
