The Employer is: MACC HAIR BELFAST. A hair stylist is responsible for providing professional hair care services to clients, including cutting, colouring, and styling hair to enhance clients' appearance and meet their individual needs. They consult with clients to understand their preferences and offer expert advice on hair care and styling products. Additionally, they maintain a clean and organized work environment, manage client appointments, and stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling. A successful hair stylist is skilled in various hair treatments, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service..

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences.
• Cut, trim, and style hair using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Apply hair treatments, such as colouring, straightening, or perms.
• Advise clients on hair care products and styling techniques.
• Keep workstations clean and sanitized to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling.
• Book appointments and manage client schedules.
• Upsell salon services and retail products to clients.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Skills and Qualifications

• Level 2 hairdressing.
• Good level of common courtesy.

Further Information

The Employer is: MACC HAIR BELFAST. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
