Programmes and Events Administrator


Job description

You will provide crucial programme and event administrative support to support the delivery of the Navigating the Future strategy. .

Responsibilities

  • Provide event administration support to the RYA NI team, setting up event bookings, taking payments and putting event reports together.
  • Make and manage bookings of courses, venues and equipment.
  • Communicate with event attendees.
  • Manage programme/event/course evaluation and post event communication.
  • Support the Executive Assistant with day-to-day administration tasks.
  • Communicate with clubs to organise bookings, payments and arrange visits.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload.
  • Experience of using Microsoft software, mainly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous administration experience.

The Employer is: ROYAL YACHTING ASSOCIATION NORTHERN IRELAND. Salary: Under 18 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 & over £11.44 per hour. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
