Job description

Farm Worker / Tractor Driver based in Dungannon.

Responsibilities

• General livestock work, feeding, bedding etc.
• Active role during calving and lambing.
• All animal husbandry tasks, dosing, weighing and selecting beef cattle and lambs for sale, checking and gathering stock with a Quad.
• General tractor work, slurry, silage, topping, fertiliser/dung spreading, reseeding, feeding using diet feeder.
• Farm maintenance and repairs including machinery, housing, fencing etc.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Enthusiastic and able to display initiative and a strong work ethic.
• Confident around livestock.
• Confident with tractor/telehandler/quad work and willing to learn.
• Motivated and have an ability to adapt to a varying job role.
• Able to work as part of a small team and at times work independently.
