Job description

Reporting directly to the Manager, the Loans Officer will provide an efficient service to members, processing transactions, interviewing loan applicants and carrying out a range of administrative tasks. As Loans Officer you will be responsible for providing a first class service to members, accepting and assessing loan applications, taking into account their individual circumstances and guiding them through the process. .

Responsibilities

• All roles at counter; debit cards and cash transactions, foreign exchange etc.
• To authorise the payments of loans to members subject to such limitations as to amount, duration, terms of repayment and security required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to discuss peoples finances with them and assess their financial information and input the required information onto computer based loan applications.
