Office Administrator
Job description
WineFlair (Belfast) LTD is looking for an Office Administrator to enhance our accounts’ team's efficiency. This role involves key responsibilities such as processing invoices, managing lottery operations, and investigating discrepancies within delivery invoices across our retail locations. The ideal candidate will be a detailed and diligent worker, comfortable with high-volume data entry and capable of using advanced financial systems,.
Responsibilities
- Process and input financial data and invoices accurately into our accounting system & working to strict deadlines.
- Reconciliation of bank & supplier statements.
- Manage the administrative tasks associated with lottery activations and settlements.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in delivery invoices through communication with all stores
- Maintain accurate and updated financial records
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required
- Handle general office duties such as scanning, copying, responding to emails and answering the phone
- Provide support to other departments as needed to ensure smooth office operations
- Extensive use of Microsoft Business Central Accounts software for various accounting and administrative tasks
- Making and receiving calls from Stores to assist in any queries when required
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 A Levels at grade C or over or equivalent
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills
- Further education or certification in administrative services or accounting is a plus
- Previous experience in an accounts setting is beneficial but not essential
- Previous experience using Microsoft Business Central Accounts package
