Job description

JMain Purpose: To provide direct domiciliary care to Down Community Care Clients. Scope of Job: Responsible to the Registered Manager. 1. To follow directions and instructions as lay down in the companies policies and procedures booklet. 2. To act at all times as a representative of the company and to support its good reputation. 3. To attend all calls at the specified time lay down in the Care Plan and to follow all duties and task accordingly. 4. To inform the immediate supervisor when you are unable to attend calls on time or fulfil the requirements of the care plan. 5. To respect the Client’s confidentiality in accordance with the policy lay down. 6. To undertake the appropriate training and induction necessary for your tasks. 7. To act on all instructions given to you by your Manager or Supervisor. 8. To provide the company with a written record of your hours and mileage per week. (False claims can result in delayed payments and suspension) 9. To bear in mind that you report change in a Client’s circumstances to the office. 10. To work the hours prescribed in the care plans regardless of Bank holidays. .

  • Bed making
  • Food preparation

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Full driving licence and access to vehicle

Further Information

Salary: £12.00 per hour weekly, £13.00 per hour at weekends
