Job description
The post holder will work as a member of the admin team for hospital, nursing and supported living within the Adult Learning Disability Division and will have day to day management responsibility for the admin staff within this area. The postholder will also have a development and monitoring role for all administration, audit and recording processes across this area to ensure efficient and accurate recording of data and the timely flow of information..
Responsibilities
- Oversight of databases and all recording systems set up across hospital, nursing and supporting living, and the monitoring of these to ensure timely and accurate recording and reporting. Development of new recording systems as required.
- Maintain and populate the Safeguarding Database (hospital) and input into other databases as required.
- Maintain and develop appropriate office management systems.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including Maths and English Language or equivalent or higher educational standard AND 2 years admin /clerical experience (1 of which must be at Band 3 or higher)
- OR NVQ Level 3 in a management/ business related subject or equivalent AND 1 years admin/ clerical experience at Band 3 or higher.
- Or 4 years admin/clerical experience (at least 2 of which are at Band 3 or higher).
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport SEE JD
Desirable Skills
- Minimum of 1 years experience of working in a people management / supervisory role.
