Dreams and Sofatime are looking for a van helper to join our growing team for deliveries to our customers. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional service, while maintaining high standards and working in line with our Company values at all times. .

Responsibilities

• Delight our customers while following our REACH principles
• Load and secure products onto vehicles ensuring orders are wrapped, packed and tied in appropriately ensuring that products are delivered/collected in good condition
• Schedule delivery by calling customer by 10.00am
• Assist the driver with deliveries, carefully installing furniture into customers home preserving the quality of our products and the surrounding decor
• Assess delivery routes, make informed decisions and take action as necessary
• Maintain vehicle & equipment
• Accurately complete all daily paperwork
• Carry out minor repairs to returned products

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Please note heavy lifting involved due to nature and volume of product
• Good organisational, administration and PC skills
• Professional manner

• Communicate effectively with others including branches, customers, warehouse and customer care team while building rapport
• Consistently demonstrates positive energy, drive and a can do attitude

• Demonstrate candour at all times

Desirable Skills

• Able to drive is not essential but would be desirable

Further Information

Salary: OTE £26,160 per annum - Hourly rate £12.00, plus monthly bonus potential £100. Benefits:- Death in service - enrolled after 3 months service. Bonus and incentives based on performance. Staff discount. On site parking. Smoke break exchange - allowing 1 extra day leave each year. Length of Service awards.
