Job description

Production Operators have the responsibility for ensuring that ingredients and products are handled correctly, that work instructions and instructions from management are followed, that food safety duties are carried out effectively and that equipment and surfaces are maintained in a hygienic condition..

Responsibilities

• To carry out production duties as required by the Factory Manager.
• To ensure that work areas are kept as clean and tidy as practical.
• To ensure that records are completed as needed.
• To pick orders and pack accordingly in a safe and presentable manner.
• To help ensure that product is not at risk of contamination through poor hygiene controls.
• To complete cleaning of equipment and utensils as scheduled.
• To keep alert for any breach of site security, deliberate contamination or unauthorised personnel in departments.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good communication skills in order to follow production instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Proven high level of manual dexterity and speed.

Desirable Skills

• No experience necessary as full training will be provided.
• Previous experience within a food production environment.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent.
• Health & Safety/First Aid related qualification.

Further Information

The Employer is: PURE ROAST COFFEE LIMITED Although this is a full-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16/17yrs £5.28, 18/20yrs £7.49, 21/22yrs £10.18, 23/24yrs £10.42 per hour
