The employer is: PLASTICS 2000 LTD. Working as a member of a fast paced production team, ensuring targets are met and quality standards are adhered to..

Responsibilities

• Filling machines with raw materials.
• Counting, packing and labelling of finished goods for dispatch.
• Keeping work area clean and tidy at all times.
• Working across all aspects of production operations, ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Ensure products are produced to appropriate quality standards, right first time.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area.
• Ensure efficient production flow and make suggestions as to how work flow could be improved.
• Escalate issues to line management as required.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good communication skills and organisational skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not a requirement.

Further Information

The employer is: PLASTICS 2000 LTD. Salary: Under 18 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 & over £11.44 per hour. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
