Maintenance Fitter Mannok Precast
Job description
The post holder will be responsible for mechanical maintenance and repair of equipment across all areas of the plant. You will liaise with production personnel and assist with continuous improvement activities. The role also involves carrying out tool changes. It is essential that the applicant must be a qualified time served fitter and have previous experience of mechanical fitting, welding, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment within a manufacturing or industrial process. The ability to fault find, provide solutions and repair problems on automated plant and conveyor systems, knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics with an understanding of PLC automated equipment is essential. The successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge of health & safety within the workplace, be able to meet the physical and health requirements of the role and be computer literate. In addition they must be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude, have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, achieve targets and prioritise workload. Electrical aptitude is desirable. .
