Job description

As Social Media Intern, you will working closely with our Creative Content Director to manage the company's presence on social media platforms, these include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. You will schedule content for posting across all 4 platforms, coming up with new ideas for content and developing artwork for posting. You will use Weatherbies assets and templates to create content in-line with our brand..

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing Weatherbies social media platforms with the Creative Director.
  • Copywriting all content before publishing.
  • Reporting to Creative Director weekly with stats etc.
  • Research new content ideas.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Creating content and formatting for different platforms.
  • Develop and oversee our social media strategies.
  • Creating animated content for various platforms.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Good knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Strong copywriting ability.
  • Good ability to work well in a team.
  • Capable researcher.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Understanding of marketing and social media strategies.

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of creating animated content for various platforms.
  • Some knowledge of Metadata Business Suite.
  • Some knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Basic understanding of content creation tools (preferably Adobe's Creative Cloud suite of apps).
  • Capable animation skills and access to animation software (preferably Adobe After Effects, but other applications are fine).
  • Can speak basic or fluent in the Irish language or learning Irish language.

Further Information

The Employer is: THE WEATHERBIES LTD. Salary: Under 18 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 & over £11.44 per hour. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
