Job description

We are looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Waste Management Department, as part of our Sludge Tankering contract with Northern Ireland Water. This position involves the transportation of sludge from minor to major sewage works and is based in Mid-Ulster and the surrounding areas. The vehicle will be based locally, PPE and Uniform will be provided, annual CPC training course will be paid for by RSC, CSR and other training provided if necessary, 28 days holidays per year. Previous driving experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory as a full training package will be provided upon induction. .

Responsibilities

• Twice Daily Vehicle Checks
• Weekly Vehicle Checks
• Use of mobile app to record vehicle maintenance and sludge work
• Weekly Timesheets
• H&S Compliance

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• HGV Class 1 License
• Fluency in English for Health and Safety requirements

Desirable Skills

• CSR Training
