We are seeking an individual with a passion for dental nursing to join our enthusiastic dental team. We are looking for someone who has a focus on delivering a high standard in all areas of their work, with a willingness to learn and develop. At Loughry Dental we provide a wide range of NHS and private treatments (including orthodontics, facial aesthetics, and oral surgery) - the successful applicant will enjoy a varied working environment with opportunities to further develop their skills and qualifications. .

Responsibilities

• As part of your role as dental nurse you will be required to provide clinical support to dentists and maintain the stringent practice procedures relating to decontamination and cross infection control.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good communication skills.
• Can work within a team.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in working in a dental or similar setting would be a desirable skill but not essential as training will be provided.

The practice is also currently involved in a paedatric research trial in association with Queens University Belfast and University of Liverpool, and there will be an opportunity for the application to get involved in this trial and gain further skills. The hours of business are Monday to Friday with no weekends or late evenings. There is also free onsite parking and a restaurant/coffee shop next door.
