The Employer is: MINORITIES RECOGNITION AWARDS NI. Minorities Recognition Awards NI (MRANI) is a non-profit Organisation who is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media and Marketing Assistant to support our social media. This role is perfect for a highly motivated individual with a passion for entrepreneurship and a talent for digital communication. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and fostering member engagement through various digital platforms .

Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Social media management.
  • Create and post engaging content across our social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) derived from our mailshot content and other sources.
  • Update and maintain our website.
  • Perform and monitor all our social media channels, actively engaging with our audience by liking, sharing, and responding to comments.
  • Promote events effectively on social media, including creating and managing Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn event pages.
  • Mailshot Coordination.
  • Collect, curate, and create content for our weekly mailshot, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice and member interests. Collaborate with team members to gather insights, stories, and updates for inclusion in the mailshot.
  • Monitor social media activities of our members, sharing relevant content to our platforms and mailshot to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
  • Engage with members online to increase their visibility and promote their initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Strong team player and ability to work independently.
  • Proactive and responsive.
  • Ability to and be comfortable using telephone and ability to learn how to create digital marketing plans.
  • A qualification (or relevant demonstrable experience) within the industry.
  • Experience of producing context for social media platforms.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Desirable Skills

  • Multi-media production.
  • Knowledge of WordPress.
  • Knowledge of Content Creation tools.
  • Social media experience or qualification.
  • Be prepared to use marketing and other platforms.
  • Having used CRM or Marketing Technology platforms previously.
  • Multi-lingual.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to produce innovative & inspiring videos.

Further Information

The Employer is: MINORITIES RECOGNITION AWARDS NI. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
