Job description

The Employer is: 21 TRAINING. As Marketing Assistant the successful candidate will be working with our marketing team, helping to drive enquiries for the programmes offered by 21 Training. The role is varied and will give the individual a wide range of experience in marketing. .

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of marketing materials including social media content using Canva etc.
• Checking stocks of marketing materials e.g. leaflets, merchandise etc. and ensuring additional supplies are ordered.
• Attending events such as roadshows to support the marketing team.
• Help with organising and promoting events.
• Ensuring all marketing assets such as exhibition stands, display materials etc are stored safely and booked out and in.
• Submitting ideas for marketing programmes and events.
• Drafting content for website and social media.
• Updating presentations as required.
• Any other similar duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• GCSE English or equivalent.
• Good attention to detail.
• Interest in social media and marketing.
• Good organisational skills.
• Good timekeeping and time management skills.
• Communication: Skills in clearly expressing ideas and information both verbally and in writing, as well as listening actively to others.
• Being flexible and willing to adjust to new circumstances or challenges.

Further Information

The Employer is: 21 TRAINING. Although this is a temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. 21 Training deliver a number of training and employability support programmes. They are based in Strabane with training facilities in Strabane and Derry/Londonderry. 21 Training offer a 4 day working week (Mon-Thur).
