Responsibilities

• Operating stone cutting machinery and tools.
• Measure and cut accurately.
• Maintain machinery and their components.
• Fit and install worktops, upstands and splashbacks.
• Hand polish and bevel edges.
• Manual handling.
• Work to safety standards.
• Cut jobs to match template.
• Template manually.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• This job requires heavy lifting.
• Previous experience with hand tools.
• Previous experience with cutting machinery.
• History of working in a fast paced environment.
• History of quality work and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills

• Fork truck licence.
• Van driving experience.

Further Information

The employer is: SLEMISH STONE. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
