Job description

The Post Holder will be responsible for supporting the Trust’s delivery of the Ten Year Tobacco Control Strategy for NI. This post will primarily focus on delivering a Stop Smoking Service across hospital settings in the South Eastern H&SC Trust Area. The Post Holder will contribute to improve health & Wellbeing and reduce health inequalities for our patients/clients and those working in the South Eastern H&SC Trust. .

Responsibilities

• To contribute to building the capacity and capability of those delivering stop smoking services in acute, community and prison settings.
• To provide stop smoking services in acute setting.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience of planning and delivering health and wellbeing initiatives.
• A relevant degree in the field of health OR Professional Qualification ( Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health Professional, Social Worker).
