Job description

CAD assistance with a full range of design works including water, wastewater, highway bridges, complex temporary works and structural piling through the UK. Would consider school leavers entering into a Civil Engineering Apprenticeship..

Responsibilities

• Preparation of engineering drawings and modifications incorporating comments.
• Assisting Project Managers and Engineers with design and preparation of supporting documents.
• Assisting engineers in preparation of technical details.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• GSCEs in Maths & English.
• Show an aptitude towards software-based engineering and drawing e.g. Computer Aided Design (CAD) and other similar 3D software
• Demonstrate an interest and a desire to pursue a career in Civil Engineering
• Commitment to continued education and improvement through on-the-job learning and training opportunities

Desirable Skills

• Creative, practical, adaptable and enthusiastic
• Ability to think in a methodical way to design, plan and organize parts of projects
