Job description

The Administrative Services Manager is a key member of the Regional Day Procedure Team (RDPC) specifically supporting the Administration Team to deliver Regional operational agreed strategy. They will also assist in the modernisation and continuous improvement of services by aiding redesign and transformation of services in response to these strategic developments. The key aspect of this role is to implement, manage, support and develop the Regional Day Procedure administrative processes and pathways to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service. The aim is to utilise maximum theatre capacity in order to reduce long routine patient waiting lists. To achieve this will include networking with relevant Clinical staff, Managerial staff and Regional stake holders..

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A degree or recognised professional qualification or equivalent and 2 years experience working in a clinical administrative role with line management responsibility at Band 5 or equivalent Or HNC/HND.

Desirable Skills

• Familiar With Encompass / EPIC.
