Kilcreggan Homes are excited to announce the ongoing development of our services into the Glengormley area. We are seeking to employ up to 12 support workers for this excellent opportunity to become involved in our brand-new service that offers homes to adults with complex needs. We are looking for empathetic and caring staff who share our values and have a desire to help improve and add to the quality of life and well-being of our tenants and service users. Just as with our service-users, we believe that well-being at work is about creating an environment that allows employees to flourish and achieve their full potential. You can contribute to our continued growth. We are a registered charity that provides person-centred services to people who have learning disabilities and/or autism and acquired brain injury..

Responsibilities

  • To support tenants in daily living tasks as required.
  • To provide two to one support to our tenants and service users with a broad range of learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions.
  • To work as part of our team.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrate skills and attributes to enhance clients lives.
  • Provide support in person centred way.
  • Undertake training up to NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

Desirable Skills

  • Registered with NISCC.
  • Experience in working with clients with complex needs.
  • Experience of working in care or support.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
