Job description

The Employer is: RDA CAUSEWAY COAST & GLENS. The successful applicant will provide a variety of general cleaning and catering duties to aid the smooth running of RDA Causeway Coast and Glens. .

Responsibilities

• To ensure the cleanliness of the RDA building is maintained and monitored throughout the premises.
• To assist with reasonable catering and café duties where required.
• Daily tidying and cleaning of the RDA building - dusting, brushing, vacuuming and mopping all floor areas, upstairs and downstairs.
• Daily cleaning of the kitchen, clubroom & toilets.
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing the riders waiting area.
• Refilling, replenishing and restocking supplies in the toilets and elsewhere as required (handwash, paper towels, toilet roll, washing up liquid, bleach etc).
• Maintain good supply of cleaning products etc.
• Washing kitchen tea towels and cloths.
• Cleaning of the cafe as required.
• Regular disinfection.
• Cleaning windows.
• Taking out all internal rubbish, cleaning bins and replenishing liners.
• Prepare, maintain and tidy the reception area ensuring it is clean at all times.
• Operate equipment as required - dishwasher, washing machine, vacuum etc. Maintain the associated records and report faults to the Operations Director.
• To assist with catering arrangements and other requirements for meetings and events.
• Update management on any issues/ supplies as needed.
• Abide by and follow H&S regulations.
• Attend training as and when required.
• Any other reasonable management request in line with the broad spectrum of this post.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good organisational and housekeeping skills.
• Flexible, thorough with attention to detail.
• Sound knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses.
• Working knowledge of H&S standards.
• Self motivated and ability to work on our own initiative.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Previous cleaning experience of an industrial building.
• Previous experience in a cafe setting/catering.
• Catering qualification.

Further Information

The Employer is: RDA CAUSEWAY COAST & GLENS. Although this is a part-time/ full time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: To be confirmed.
