Team Lead
Job description
The Team Lead is a Senior Care Assistant role. The Team Lead will support junior staff members, undertake staff observations, and assist with care reviews, pre-commencement meetings and inductions. Team Leads are also the nominated keyworkers who provide and oversee care to service users in their own homes in accordance with NISCC Standards of Conduct and Practice. Team Leads are supported to undertake qualifications relevant to their personal and professional development. They must be a car driver, and be available to work full-time hours, including a weekend on and weekend off..
Responsibilities
- To support, observe, and induct new staff.
- To participate in service user reviews and pre-commencement meetings and to provide and uphold care practices in accordance with NISCC Standards of Conduct and Practice 2015.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Team Leads must have a minimum of Level 3 in Health and Social Care and at least 2 years experience in a relevant caring environment.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Access to a car for business purposes.
Desirable Skills
- Supervisory or training experience is desirable but not essential.
