Job description

As a Nursery Assistant in Appletree Childcare, your role is to ensure the children that attend the setting receive the highest standard of care and you create an environment that supports their learning, development and well-being. You will safeguard all children and ensure that their individual needs are met. .

Responsibilities

• To safeguard every child in your care each day.
• To deliver the highest standard of care to children and families.
• To work well as part of a team and communicate issues when needed with Supervisors and Management.
• To follow all policies and procedures in place.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• NVQ level 3 (Early Years care and Learning Education) or equivalent.

Desirable Skills

• Core trainings desirable but not essential. Appropriate training can be provided.
