Contracts Administrator, Band 3


Job description

The post holder will work as part of a team responsible for the effective and efficient administration, planning, monitoring, co-ordination, record keeping, invoice processing, expenditure / budgetary reporting and database maintenance of the management of service contracts across the Trust in accordance with Estates and Trust Policies and Procedures..

Responsibilities

  • Processing of invoices via the FPM system, completing goods checked, price checked and distributing to Estates Officers for approval.
  • To provide administration of service contracts and repairs of specialist equipment.
  • Planning of routine service visits in accordance with Contract Schedules.
  • Monitoring of Service Visits and Contract Expenditure against Contract Schedules.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport SEE JD
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE O Levels or Equivalent at min C grade, 2 of which should be English and Maths and
  • One years Administrative/ Clerical experience
  • And Previous working experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous Working Experience of using databases Or Three years Administrative / Clerical Experience

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience of working in contracts
  • Customer care skills

Further Information

(Temporary / Part-Time) Altnagelvin Hospital. Salary - £22,816 - £23,177 per annum, pro rata.
