Job description

In order to meet the overall mission of the Trust the post holder will: Participate in the band 6 rotational programme to provide pharmacy services including aseptic services, dispensing services, medicines information, clinical pharmacy and prison healthcare..

Responsibilities

• Undertake and successfully complete the Northern Ireland Post registration Foundation Programme for hospital pharmacists within 3 years of appointment.
• Ensure the appropriate interpretation of prescriptions prior to their preparation in the ward / pharmacy.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Completed and passed pre-registration year and professional exam. Candidates registering in Aug 2024 are eligible to apply and will commence once registered.
• MPharm or equivalent.
• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland or eligible.
