Job description

The Employer is: ACTION CANCER. Working as part of the retail team to assist with the day-today operations in our Action Cancer retail store..

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Sort donated stock including pricing, barcoding and identifying Gift Aid donations.
• Ensure a high standard of presentation, display and merchandising.
• Be responsible for operating the electronic till system including recording donations and processing sales.
• Working with the Store Manager to market and promote items on various social media platforms.
• Assist with the housekeeping and adherence to health & safety regulations.
• Attend First Aid training course.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good teamwork.
• Flexibility to do different tasks.
• Ability to follow procedures correctly such as using a till.
• Communication skills in retail.
• Teamwork skills in retail.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in using EPOS till system.

Further Information

The Employer is: ACTION CANCER. Salary: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
