Job description

Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms that aligns with our brand's values and targets our desired audience. Assist in creating and designing email campaigns to our subscribers, newsletters and gaining new email subscribers..

Responsibilities

  • Content creation - Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms that aligns with our brand's values and targets our desired audience.
  • We have a focus on developing TikTok as a new platform for us, and further develop Instagram and Facebook. Taking product photographs and styled photos of the products on models.
  • Email marketing - Assist in creating and designing email campaigns to our subscribers, newsletters and gaining new email subscribers.
  • Event coordination - Support in the planning and execution of bringing our brand to events, pop up shops and collaborations to enhance brand visibility. You will be selling to the public, stocktaking products and communicating with customers.
  • Basic graphic design tasks - Creating graphics for our social media, videos for TikTok and Instagram, lives, using Canva.
  • Any other relevant tasks that will help the company grow.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Creativity - A creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging images and content that resonates with our target audience and sets our brand apart from competitors. Happy to be involved in product photography and video creation.
  • Interpersonal skills - Strong relational and interpersonal skills as we are customer-facing very often at markets and pop ups.
  • Adaptability - Flexibility to adapt to changing trends, algorithms, behaviours in the evolving social media landscape.
  • Attention to detail - meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in content creation.
  • Communication skills - Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable Skills

  • Time management - Excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks.
  • Graphic design - Proficiency in Canva or similar, to create visually appealing graphics and branded assets for social media posts and emails.
  • SEO knowledge - Understanding of SEO techniques.

Further Information

The Employer is: LOTTA HEADWEAR. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. We are seeking a creative individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in development and implementation of social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads and sales. This role requires a good knowledge of various social media platforms and trends alongside excellent communication skills. This is a new role within our business as we seek to develop further.
