Community Care Worker


Job description

We are recruiting community care workers for afternoon rotas - we have one rota 14:30 - 19:00 and others from 15:00 - 18:30 - times and rotas can be discussed at interview stage. We provide full bespoke training for the role so no qualifications or experience are necessary. You must however, have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. .

Responsibilities

  • Care within the community
  • Personal care - washing/showering, dressing/undressing, oral hygiene
  • Light meal preparation
  • Companionship
  • Leaving all areas safe

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
  • Great communication skills
  • Able to promote and deliver person centered care
  • Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
  • Be well organised/professional/caring
  • Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
  • Care about the community they live in

Desirable Skills

  • Paid caring experience
  • QCF Level 3 Health & Social Care

Full time and part time rotas available. Applicant must have the right to work in the UK. Applicant must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
