Job description

We are seeking a temporary Registered Manager to cover maternity to join our team for 9 months (to be reviewed). Registered Managers will be accountable to their Area Manager for the overall management and quality of the service, in keeping with AI philosophy, aims and objectives. Responsibilities

• At Autism Initiatives we work alongside people with autism, providing specialist services tailored to each individual
• Specifically take account of the choices, needs and wishes of each service user, involving service users in their own plans and day-to-day decision

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A full UK Driving Licence to be held for a minimum of one year
• Meet the RQIA requirements to be a Registered Manager when taking up appointment i.e. Health or Social Care professional qualification ; or Level 5 Diploma (QCF5) in Leadership for Health and Social Care Management
• Meet the required years supporting and at Senior Support level or above, as defined within the RQIA standards for a Registered Manager
• Working knowledge of supporting people who have ASC, communication difficulties and associated complex needs
• NISCC registration
