Job description

To be responsible for kitchen duties within the home. Maintain the order and cleanliness of the kitchen to government and company sanitation standards..

Responsibilities

• Maintain the order and cleanliness of the kitchen to government and company sanitation standards
• Wash dishes ensuring that they are adequately sanitised by maintaining required water temperature and chemical levels
• Put dishes away after washing
• Clean kitchen surfaces
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Clean out freezers
• Remove rubbish and place in appropriate bins
• Ensure that cooking equipment and appliances are used appropriately and maintained to an adequate standard
• Ensure that the kitchen has appropriate stock levels
• Carry out any other duties which may be reasonably required within the post

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• No essential skills are required

Desirable Skills

• Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not necessary
• Full training will be provided
