To assist in the provision of a comprehensive, high quality and efficient pharmacy service to Healthcare in Prison. The post holder will work as an effective member of the Healthcare in Prison Pharmacy team providing comprehensive Medicines Management and dispensing services..

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of all aspects of the dispensary services to Healthcare in Prison under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• To dispense prescriptions for patients using the pharmacy computer system.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A minimum of 2 years experience working as a Student Pharmacy Technician, or equivalent, for a minimum of 14 hours per week.
• BTEC and NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services, or equivalent.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working in a secure environment
