Warehouse Supervisor reports to Distribution Manager. Would you like to be part of a successful and rewarding business? Dreams and Sofatime are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Distribution team where you would play a key part at our warehouse to ensure smooth operation which enables successful deliveries to help us delight our customers..

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the vehicle loading process, ensure all products are wrapped and labelled before loading, and the correct products are loaded and secured.
• Support the Warehouse Management team by challenging the Distribution team on vehicle standards, rubbish and product security.
• Provide effective coaching to Distribution team, ensuring consistent delivery of REACH principles.
• Instruct and guide team members when assigning tasks, consider warehouse priorities and staff member capabilities.
• Responsible for all aspects of stock movement while coordinating and monitoring the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products.
• Responsible for maintaining consistently high standards throughout Duncrue complex including standards in warehouses, maintaining plants, locks, reporting issues, de-icing etc.
• Maintain standards of health and safety and security in the work environment. Report any faults, near misses and hazards.
• Embrace the business Culture and Values and hold others accountable. Act with integrity and respect, inject positive energy, continually improve, be brave, be decisive, always be commercial and celebrate success.
• Lead by example, always completing tasks to a high standard and holding others to this standard.
• Communicate effectively with others including distribution team, warehouse management team, suppliers and customer care team.
• Work under pressure and react quickly to any problems which may arise.
• Take ownership for warehouse, Duncrue complex and personal performance.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Please note due to nature of the job there will be volume of product (heavy lifting).
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Forklift licence.
• Previous Supervisor experience.

Further Information

Salary OTE £29,440 per annum, hourly rate is £13.00 per hour plus monthly bonus potential £200. Benefits: Death in service - enrolled after 3 months service. Performance bonus. Staff discount.
