Job description

M Large sell a wide range of agricultural, forestry and construction equipment. We also have our own extensive fleet of vehicles and plant to maintain. We require a skilled fitter/mechanic to join our small team servicing and repairing a range of equipment including commercial vehicles, agricultural and construction equipment. .

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing a range of equipment including commercial vehicles, agricultural and construction equipment
• Maintain the highest standards of safety in all work and operations Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and service activities Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• Working as part of a team or individually Hands on experience servicing and repairing vehicles, plant and machinery is more important than formal qualifications

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in the repair of plant and equipment and or commercial vehicles Good all-round mechanical skills Knowledge of electrics, electronics, and hydraulics
• A good working knowledge of hydraulics and electrics as well as welding/fabricating skills is necessary
• A valid driving licence, HGV a distinct advantage
