The Walled City Brewery is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the expanding team within our award winning restaurant. Located in ever expanding Ebrington Square the Walled City Brewery was opened in 2015. As well as a restaurant, small batch brewery and taproom it also provides brewery experiences and events such as weddings, festivals and corporate events. The restaurant ‘The Kitchen’ provides a 2/3 course ala carte menu cooked by Michelin trained head chef and team daily and lunch at the weekend. It offers a wide range of home brewed beers and cocktails and the front of house is served by a friendly, efficient and well-trained team. Job Schedule: Full Time/ Flexible Hours/ Weekend Availability/ Permanent Job Specification Overview: The assistant restaurant manager will possess 2 years previous supervisory or junior management experience. The ideal candidate will be guest focused and passionate about providing exceptional customer service. They will demonstrate a ‘hands on’ approach to leading a young motivated and authentic team..

Responsibilities

• Assist Restaurant Manager in the daily operations of the restaurant.
• Lead a customer focused team providing friendly and efficient service and maintaining exceptional standards.
• Ensure restaurant operational duties and set ups are maintained and completed daily.
• Drive and maximize sales and maintain operating costs.
• Support the management and team in achieving the monthly GP forecasts.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 2 years previous supervisory or junior management experience.
