The Employer is: CAFE OLYMPUS LTD. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food preparation process, managing the kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of culinary offerings. .

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen, coordinating with other departments as needed.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and proper food safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials.
• Oversee food production to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Working public experience. Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation.
• Hospitality skills to provide exceptional service to customers.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in menu planning and development.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and supplies.

Desirable Skills

• Cash handling. Previously work in busy café/ restaurant and outside catering.

Further Information

The Employer is: CAFE OLYMPUS LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Café Olympus is in the business for the last 15 years. Busy environment with clientele from different group ages. Opening hour seven days per week Mon to Fri 8.30 to 19.30 Sat- Sun 9.00 to 16.30.Training and support is provided for all job start applicants.
