Job description

The Employer is: BLETHERS NI LTD. Hospitality Trainee Once all onsite training has been given, the trainee will carry out the following tasks: Front of House/Barista. Wash Room Area/KP. End of Day. We are a small team, and tend to all chip in, work together to get the daily tasks completed. .

Responsibilities

  • Hospitality Trainee Once all onsite training has been given, the trainee will carry out the following tasks.
  • Greet customers, outline any specials, take orders, prepare drinks (hot/cold), convey customers order to the kitchen staff, once their food is prepared take it to the customers table, check in with the customer.
  • All floors to be brushed and mopped, ensuring health and safety measures are in place, i.e. wet floor signs are in use. Once finished, empty mop bucket, rinse and refill adding degreaser to allow mop to soak overnight.
  • Bathroom area to cleaned.
  • All bins to be emptied and new bags inserted.
  • Wash Room Area/KP.
  • Scrape all left over food into the food waste bin. Hand wash all dishes and stack onto the dishwasher trays. Once loaded, place into the automated dishwasher and run cycle.
  • Once cycle is completed, remove tray, dry dishes and put away into relevant area.
  • At the end of day, drain the dishwasher, strip all components and hand wash in sink. Clean down the inners of the dishwasher, removing any debris. Replace all components ready for the following days trade.
  • All surfaces and equipment to be cleaned down, disinfected and sanitised.
  • Coffee machine to be stripped down and all components cleaned thoroughly and put back together ready for the following days trade.
  • End of day to be carried out on the till (EPOS), ensuring that the card reader balance matches that on the till, and balancing the cash to ensure all totals match.
  • Although this seems a lot, all of the above is broken down into different sections and depending on the daily role, will depend on what tasks need to be carried out
  • We are a small team, and tend to all chip in, work together to get the daily tasks completed.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • No experience/skills required, as all training will be given, although experience may be beneficial.

The Employer is: BLETHERS NI LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
