We are currently recruiting for Housekeeping Staff for the Belfast City Centre Area. The ideal candidate will be flexible, self motivated with an ability to work independently or as part of a team. All candidates must have basic reading, writing and listening skills to assist in the understanding safety and work instructions and also to ensure an ability to communicate clearly with customers on a day to day basis. Whilst Housekeeping experience is preferable, it is not essential as full training will be given..

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a Housekeeping Team to clean and maintain all areas of the hotel as directed to a high standard.
• Brush, scrub, mop, and polish floors, vacuum clean carpets, dust and polish furniture and fittings, empty and clean rubbish containers, clean wash basins, baths, and showers, wipe down glass and mirrors.
• Make up beds and change linens.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever changing workload.
• Must have ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be available to work some weekends.

Desirable Skills

• Cleaning experience desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
• Previous experience in a similar type of role.
• Flexibility to work various shift patterns.
